ORCHESTRA PRO ANIMA WITH TIM SIDFORD (PIANO) ON SUNDAY 18 NOVEMBER AT 3PM

We are delighted to welcome Michael Bochmann and Orchestra Pro Anima once again to give us a mixed programme of music from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods. The event is on Sunday 18 November at 3pm and is the re-scheduling of the concert which was originally to take place last March but which had to be cancelled due to snow. Tickets purchased for that concert are still valid, so please bring them with you.

As well as works for string orchestra, the programme will include Mozart’s beautiful Piano Concerto in A K414 with acclaimed Malvern-resident pianist Tim Sidford, who will also be giving a performance of Debussy’s Clair de Lune. Vivaldi’s Double Violin Concerto in A minor, Handel’s Pastoral Symphony (from ‘Messiah’) and Mendelssohn’s String Symphony No 10 also form part of this lovely afternoon of music. It is also a wonderful opportunity to see the extremely talented Tim Sidford, perform once again at Christ Church too, and with the sublime Mozart.

OPA, Tim and Christ Church very much look forward to welcoming you all and there will be coffee and cakes served at the interval to add to the enjoyment.

Tickets are £17 and £13 from the Tourist Information Centre on 01684 892289.
