I can’t adequately  convey my feelings  as I watched 396 boxes being loaded on to the van which had arrived to collect them all. That actually was a record breaker for us  at Christ Church but we must remember  that, like all good things, it was a team effort. Our very grateful thanks to all of you who came and enjoyed our Shoe Box workshop, to those individuals who contributed, to Malvern St James School, to Malvern Parish School and to Dysons Academy and to Pendock School  We, literally, could not have done it without you. I hope you share with me that immense feeling of joy that an unknown child, in an unknown place,  knows that, for once,  they are not unknown. They have been shown love and compassion by the kindness of a stranger, you and I. That kindness has made an immeasurable difference to 396 children. This year  children in  Serbia have received our boxes all the way from Malvern. And, as you sit down to enjoy your Christmas meal please spare a thought for them and the difference you have made. On their behalf -thank you. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to make it to 400 Christmas presents next year?
